What is BrightAuthor?

BrightAuthor is a software application that helps you create presentations for your digital sign or kiosk. You can play your

BrightAuthor presentations on BrightSign models: HD110, HD120, HD210, HD210w, HD220, HD410, HD810, HD1010,

HD1010w, HD1020, and TD1012. Your presentations can include any of the following types of content:

• Images

• Pre-recorded videos

• Live videos (HD810, HD1010, and HD1010w)

• Audio

• RSS

• Dynamic Playlists

• SignChannel (HD210, HD210w, HD220, HD1010, HD1010w, HD1020 and TD1012 only. Subscription is required.

What kind of presentations can I create?

You can create two types of presentations with BrightAuthor:

• Non-Interactive: A slide show of media that plays in a continuous loop. You can play non-interactive presentations

on all BrightSign models.

• Interactive: A presentation that transitions between media based on input from a user via a button board, remote

control, or a similar input device. All models except the HD110 support at least one type of interactive event.
